Jason was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. He relocated from Dubuque to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to attend the University of Northern Iowa. Jason graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology. While at the University of Northern Iowa, Jason was a teaching assistant for criminal justice classes.
In addition to obtaining his Bachelors Degree and with the future intent of studying law, Jason completed internships with the Cedar Falls Police Department and the Blackhawk County District Attorney’s Office. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology, Jason obtained his Juris Doctorate at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
While completing his legal studies, Jason completed an internship with the prestigious law firm of Fraser, Trebilcock, Davis, Dunlap, P.C. In addition, Jason was on the Dean’s List multiple semesters and received the certificate of merit, the highest award given in a single class, in Law Office Management. Each year, Jason completes requisite Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes to better assist his clients, including being an annual attendee of the State Bar of Nevada Family Law Convention.
Jason has also completed a 44-hour custody/divorce/domestic violence mediation seminar at UNLV and a 20-hour Parenting Coordinator seminar to better assist his clients in November 2012.
